How to compare a sale price before you buy

By promozhub@gmail.com · October 6, 2026

Start with the exact product number and variant. A cheaper color, a smaller pack or a refurbished item is not the same offer as the one you originally selected.

Compare like with like

Keep the product number, size, color and included accessories together when comparing listings. A sale price may apply to only a few combinations. Open the retailer page and select yours before treating the displayed saving as available.

Look at the final total

Add shipping and tax before deciding. Check whether a promotion requires membership, a minimum basket value or an additional purchase. Buying an unwanted item to reach a threshold can cancel out the saving.

Read the reference price carefully

A retailer’s previous price is a comparison point, not proof that this is the lowest price elsewhere. Our product cards show the listed current and previous prices only when both were present in the cited source.

Keep the date in mind

Product pages record when a price was observed. They do not promise that it is still available. Follow the official source and check your cart before paying.
